Middle School CBS Student Success Binder 

Metropolitan Arts Academy 2025-2026

Purpose 

• The Westminster Public Schools Competency Based System (CBS) recognizes that every child learns differently, and their learning should be personalized so they are engaged at all times. 
• With their CBS binder, students will have access to supporting notes and classwork, in addition to their Chrome book for all content area classes throughout the day and at home each afternoon. 

Student Supplies

• 1 3-inch, 3-ring binder 
• 1 package of 5 insertable tab dividers 
• 2 packages of notebook paper
• 1 3-ring pencil bag (no pencil boxes, please) 
• 1 3-hole, 1 subject notebook 
• 1 set wired headphones

Classroom Communal Supplies

• 1 box of colored pencils 
• 1 package 5” x 7” notecards 
• Post-it notes 
• 3+ boxes of Pencils 
• 1 bottle Elmer’s School Glue
• 3 large boxes of Tissues 
• 3 containers of Clorox wipes 
• 1 set watercolor paints 
• Ultra fine sharpies
• 1 box gallon Ziploc bags 
• 6+ Expo dry-erase markers
