What Parents Have To Say
Finding the just right school can be a challenge. We were lucky enough to find a place that made Brennan feel at home and keep him safe while learning. Being at a school with an art focus is an extra bonus because my son loves drawing and creating art projects and so his teachers work to harness his creativity during content instruction. When teachers personalized his learning, he started to find success and thrive. And that is what every parent wants for their child. -Stephanie Rosch
Our family has been with Metropolitan Arts Academy since its origination, and we could not be more thrilled with the experience we have had. The education our children have received has not only prepared them for the next grade, but also the next steps in life. The school and the staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel included and understood. They rally around their students to make them all succeed and believe that are capable of anything. The community this staff has built within their school is unparalleled. We are grateful for the staff, the support they have provided for our family, the opportunities they have given our children and the education they work tirelessly to deliver! Thank you, Stephanie Wolf
What Students Have To Say
I like Metropolitan Arts Academy because of my teacher, my friends, and I feel safe. -Yhanelly
It is better than any other school I have been too. I have been able to excel more and the teachers teach with discipline so we can do things correctly. The school being a performing arts school has allowed me to have a hobby outside of sports. It helps me to prepare for other things. I have had the opportunity to go to Perry Mansfield and Thescon. It showed me a whole different world. -Nicasio
Our school is amazing. I have a great mentor, amazing principal, good friends and my teachers are the best. -Lucy
What Staff Have To Say
Emotional safety is built and carriedd out through community of caring, from the moment students walk through the door. Small things like greeting students by name as they enter, to building rapport, and providing additional emotioanl supports as needed, are available each and every day. Every student is surrounded by adults taht care about their emotional well-being as well as academic sccuess. -Rachel Fox
Metropolitan Arts Academy is a place that our students and community call home. Our school is a place not only where our students thrive in the arts and academically but also somewhere that they can come back to and know that the staff will always be there to support them in any way possible. I have always thought of my students as a “chapter” in a book, meaning they have their own special story to tell. At the MET, we support our student’s “chapters” through a variety of social and emotional lessons. The more we know how to keep our amazing students safe the more that our students will believe in themselves. The future is at our student’s fingertips. Our staff is here to make sure that they leave us believing in themselves and know that the MET is a place they can call home for years to come.-Anthony Salazar
