🌟 So Much to Celebrate at Metropolitan Arts Academy! 🌟

Hello Monarch Families,

As we move through this beautiful fall season, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate all of the incredible things happening across our campus. Our Monarchs have been busy exploring, learning, and growing in ways that make me so proud to be their principal! 🦋💛

🎭 Alice in Wonderland Jr. Auditions & Tech Interviews – Our talented students blew us away during auditions and interviews for tech positions! Casting is now finalized, and we can’t wait to see their creativity and collaboration come alive on stage.

👷‍♀️ Level 5 Girls in Construction Field Trip – Our Level 5 students had an inspiring experience exploring careers in construction and STEM fields, learning firsthand about teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation.
🦕 Dinosaur Ridge Adventure (Level 3) – Level 3 students walked in the footsteps of dinosaurs, exploring fossils and Colorado’s ancient history.
🏭 CTE Field Trip for Middle School – Middle schoolers learned about career and technical education programs that open doors to future opportunities.
🌽 Miller Farms (Primary Levels) – Our youngest Monarchs had a blast harvesting vegetables and learning where our food comes from.
🏠 Molly Brown House (Intermediate GT Students) – Our intermediate gifted and talented learners dove into Denver history, exploring leadership and resilience through the story of Molly Brown.
💼 8th Grade Adams County Career Fair – Our 8th graders connected with local businesses and explored exciting career possibilities right here in our community.
🔬 Denver Museum of Nature & Science in The Swan – We hosted the museum on-site for hands-on science fun for every grade, PK–8!

🎨 Afterschool Programming – Our afterschool clubs have been going strong for months, and as they wrap up this week, I want to thank our amazing staff and students for making these experiences so meaningful.

🎃 Next Week: Halloween Parties & Our Annual Halloween Parade! – We’re ready for costumes, creativity, and community fun as we celebrate together next week.

🏅 Monarch of the Month – Each month, one student per classroom is recognized by their peers for kindness, leadership, and representing what it means to be a Monarch.
🎉 Monthly Birthday Bash – We also take time to celebrate all our Monarch birthdays each month—because every student deserves to be celebrated!

Our students continue to amaze me with their curiosity, compassion, and creativity. Thank you, families, for your partnership and support on this Voyage of Learning. Together, we make Metropolitan Arts Academy a place where every Monarch can shine. 💛🦋
