📢 Important CMAS Testing Information for Families! 📢
Dear Monarch Families,
State testing season is here, and we want to ensure all of our students are set up for success! CMAS testing begins soon for grades 3-8, and we need your partnership in making sure our students are ready to shine!
✅ Testing Calendar: CMAS testing will take place on during the weeks of April 7-11 and April 14-18.
✅ Attendance Matters! It is crucial that students arrive on time each day of testing. Missing a test session can impact their performance and require make-up testing. We ask that all appointments be made outside of testing days.
✅ School-Wide Dress Down! Even though testing is for grades 3-8, ALL students (PK-8) may dress down to support their testing peers and promote a relaxed atmosphere. Dress down will be for the full month of April for all students. Please ensure your child still follows the school dress code.
💡 How You Can Support Your Child:
✔️ Ensure they get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each morning.
✔️ Encourage a positive mindset—remind them to do their best and not stress!
✔️ Make sure Chromebooks are fully charged each night.
🎉 ROCK CMAS! Student Incentives 🎉
We are celebrating students who show up ready to give their best effort each day! Testing students can earn a ROCK CMAS! Ticket daily by demonstrating:
⭐ Ready & on time
⭐ Owns their confidence
⭐ Charged Chromebook & focused mindset
⭐ Knocks it out of the park with effort, stamina & enthusiasm
These tickets will be used for exciting incentives throughout testing!
📢 Why CMAS Matters 📢
State testing is one way the state evaluates our school’s effectiveness, and we want our students to show what they know! While we believe in growth, creativity, and all the ways our students shine, this one test plays a role in how our school is measured. Your partnership ensures our students are set up for success!
Thank you for your continued support in making our Monarchs soar! 🦋💙💛
With gratitude,
Principal Trujillo
